Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette has 12 nude shades. It is a product of Maybelline New York. Before buying this eyeshadow palette I’ve seen lots of YouTube videos about this product. Some are saying it’s good and some are saying it’s not so great.
I hesitated a bit before buying Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette but finally I decided to give this eyeshadow palette a try. As I was confused while doing this purchase, maybe someone else is too. So I thought to share my experience with all others who are thinking to buy it. After using it for 15 days, here is my detailed review about this palette shades, quality, color pigments with swatches and price. 🙂
There are 12 shades in this palette. The tone of the colors are mostly pink. The shades are soft rosy pink, rose gold and light / dark grey. The colors are little shimmery and light. There are a few shades like matte shades, but they also have a slight hint of shimmer in them. This Eye Shadow palette is available under Rs. 1000/- in retail stores and you can find it under Rs. 800/- in online stores.
Packaging:
This eyeshadow palette comes in a pink packaging. I really liked the outer look of it and it’s very appealing. The top of the box is transparent, so the shades are quite visible. They have provided a basic brush in it which can be used as needed but there is no mirror in this palette.
Shades:
In the top row you can find shades like: cream, shimmery pink, gold shades with pink undertone.
In bottom row you can find little darker shades comparing to top row, like : champagne gold/silver, shimmery copper, grey, darker brown with light shimmer. You can also find one matte grey color in the bottom row. This matte shade has smoother texture and can be used as a crease transition shade.
Texture:
The texture of the eye-shadows are smooth and creamy. It’s quite blend-able.
Pigmentation:
The shades are not much pigmented. I had applied two three layers for each color, specially for lighter colors. So you need to keep adding back the colors while applying it. I’ve also tried it with my finger instead of brush and it works good with fingers.
Conclusion:
The shades are nice and wearable. Some shades looks very similar when I put it on my eyelids. Whatever shade I apply, the glitter is the only thing that is visible instead of color. It’s not at all pigmented. The pigments are not as good as I initially thought while purchasing it, so I’m not much impressed with this palette. Although it is budget friendly but in my opinion it’s not works great for medium skin tone.
